The 1950's Ride

Lets take a step back to Thursday nite.... Arriving at the back of the shop for the Thursday float we were greeted by the return of not one but two, M1 roadies - Le Pyney returning from Europe and Mexican Scottie who was visiting for a few days.

Le Pyney, you were making me very hungry from all those tales of pastries, cheeses, more pastries and some wine. Scottie - get your bike out of the shipping container so you can post some comments on the blog!!!

Now, this mornings ride. Well done to Pommy Paul who turned right for his first hitters ride. Johno came up with a new name for the bunters - the bunnies. Much more fluffy and nice I think - kind of like Popey's pink socks. I did notice Johno that I didn't hear the King tell you to close the gap once on this mornings ride - well done to you!!

And Maree, don't ever mention to anyone ever again that you make sure Zulu has a pillow on his lap before you serve him dinner in the lounge!!!!! It ain't the 1950's anymore!!!

For me, knowing there was a maccas coffee waiting, got me around the block. Oh, I almost forgot to mention Nudgee's choke on Haddock drive. Half way up the first climb on Haddock it was all to hard for Nudgee so he did a U-turn and floated into maccas!!!
