Sunday, the 7th of february, the Rats hit Tannum with their baggy tyres and tight shorts.
The day started off great with a Maccas coffee at 5.30 am. Zulu was tied up on the thought of overdosing on caffeine, already having one before the ride. Lucky thunder was there to convince him to have one more, promising that it will be fine.
The Woolies carpark was alive with MTB riders. Very nice to see Ekka and Craig Wise turn up. We were treading on a Vultures (Dark Horse Sean ) turf that morning. I must say it was great to have a change of track to ride on. Ive never seen so .jpg)

We worked out a way to make sure that no men get left behind. Thanks to Dominic, who, like most men, through expiring circumstances helped to create a new, simpler way around things. The first 45 mins reminded me of a movie I once seen, "Little Boy Lost" or was it "Little Dom Lost". The second man lift up rule was created. Known now as "THE DOM", it is used at a T-section, where, the second rider of the bunch, lifts up, parks and leads the pack into the right direction.

The hill climb was a great test for all the wannabe mountain goats. Handing the climb of the day to BSB. Dark Horse and Myself also got a mountain goat prize.

I over torqued and cracked my freewheel body. Big motor, little diff. This ended the day and we headed back to the Coffee Club to get another caffeine fix.
