Ahh, love was in the air this morning. With the cyclone off the coast, Whiffos new love - Apollo Red, got to have a sleep in and had the morning off. Instead the yellow warhorse was pulled out of the garage in case we ran into rain. Very sweet Whiffo.
A smaller bunch today, for whatever reason who knows. Maybe it was the cyclone off the coast. Did I mention that already??? Big Lew from Rock Vegas joined us again and was riding strong again. The paceline picked up on the second lap onto Hanson Road but the bunch pretty much stayed together. Special K did blow BIG TIME at the single lane at the end of Hanson Road.
An altercation with a JJ Richards truck at the Dawson Highway turnoff added a bit of spice to the morning. Grazza is riding impressively at the moment - currently secret achiever in the pack. For two weeks now, Grazza has taken on Haddock drive and ridden it well.
Thunder - stop bouncing off those wheels in the kick - ESPECIALLY MINE!!!!!!!
