With M1 riders spread across the country over the weekend, reports were coming in for most of Sunday with results.
Rocky Racing - Mick Newell somehow scored a race in C grade - which he won convincingly. No chance you will be there next week mate! Cat will be lucky to stay in D grade with her second placing. Johann joined the A grade field to finish 4th. Lack of racing experience saw him at the front of the group coming into the final kick. Bec and Whiffo also made the trip up for the first race but finished out of the placings in D and B grade.
Special K - Our resident tri boy made the trip to Tasmania for the weekend to compete in a qualifying event for Australian selection. Late yesterday afternoon full results weren't available, but Steve was confident that it was a top 5 finish.
Mooloolaba - For Farm Boy, results are sketchy. A fast time I think, 1hr 2mins? Happy with the results, I think? Farm Boy - let us know. Don't worry, Liz eats Gorillas for breakfast. IJ competed in both the crit and kremese with his new team - Dixon Homes. The field was busted apart in the crit with only a few select riders completing the distance. Better fortunes were had in the 90min Kremese with IJ working hard to finish in the main bunch.
