I'm sure the sleep in was welcomed by the 11 riders who turned up for the Good Friday Roll. I know I enjoyed it.
Both Whiffo and BSB were swaping war wound stories before the start of the ride - but it was great to see them back on their bikes. Whiffo bought his son Ben along for his first bunch ride, and for a first timer, he went great guns. BSB had some new impressive Trek socks on show together with an interesting tail sign. A special welcome also to first timer Brad - M1's latest recruit.
When the bunch got rolling it was short cut city to Maccas. Summo thought the paceline was on and tried to get an early jump on the bunch. Thunder quickly rained on Summo's parade reminding him that it was a roll only!! All in good fun.
At Maccas it was coffee, toast, pastries and a few chocie sweets for all. The Good Friday Roll certianly turned out to be a great way to start the long weekend.
