A good turn out for the ride last nite - 13 in total. A welcome has to go out to a couple of Tannum Tri Boys who turned up for the float - Mark and Steve.
Discussion at the start of the ride revolved around the Tweed Tour or should that be the Mystery Tweed Tour. Details are supposed to be on the Cycling Queensland website today.
Farm Boy had a bit of luck on his side when he picked up a nail in the first 10k of the ride. Something about the nail banging on the frame having gone right through the tyre???? Not sure if my ears were hearing rite.
Now Thunder tell me. Does an "in the saddle sprint" count when there is daylight between your butt and the saddle????? Hmmm - I'm thinking not!
