For some strange reason the number of riders at the start of the ride had increased significantly from previous weeks. Was it the proposed change in course to the "Mickey Muel" circuits??? Or was it the abscence of Farm Boy??? Hmm. What ever the reason, it was great to have 12 riders turn up.
Welcome to our newest addition to the pack - Allan. He's easy to pick - he's the American one on the Orbea. Summo and the Tugmaster left us at the Power Station for a townie. Next week boys - full bunch ride.
For our bunch, the ride was pretty uneventful until Fabbio's flat at Shillings lane. Thankfully the mosquito population were not out in force as Fab's tyre changing efforts were rather lengthy. It gave the bunch a good opportunity to have a few laughs and recover.
Oh - we went around the block due to Haddock being a bogged out disaster zone because of the rain and the rocks. Thanx to BSB for the late tex warning.
Hope the numbers stay up for next weeks Wednesday ride. It should be the first of many Haddock circuits. Is anyone else looking forward to that????
